James Vira, AIA, LEED AP is the Principal and Design Director for VIRALINE Architecture LLP. With over 20 years of experience focused on the design and construction of large scale, complex, design-focused projects, James has developed a diverse portfolio that includes work for colleges and universities, K-12 schools, international corporations, and private residential clients. He has completed projects at all stages of the design process and applies the same professionalism, creativity, and rigor to all projects, regardless of size. Mr. Vira is a published and award-winning designer. His ability to synthesize client, budget, and building technology into compelling designs is a key strength. Projects such as his competition-winning proposal for Rapidly Deployable Provisional Housing for the NYC Office of Emergency Management received recognition from Architect Magazine’s Progressive Architecture design awards.
